The story of Jeff and Ashley began when they went on a sponsored trip to Japan in the summer of 2004.  Jeff was from Bellevue, WA and Ashley was from Clovis, CA.  They didn't talk much on the trip except Jeff did offer Ashley some Gardettos and Pokey Sticks.  After the trip Ashley's film (yes, film) got damaged in her luggage and she was informed that Jeff had posted some photos online... and Ashley knew this was her chance!!!  She contacted Jeff and they became friends.  After 10 months of Ashley's heart-driven pursuit, Jeff asked her to be his girlfriend in June of 2005.  Hooray!!! 

The first year of their relationship was long distance as Ashley finished up her senior year of college in Orange County and Jeff went to college in San Luis Obispo.  It was rough but Ashley drove up to visit Jeff about 3 weekends a month.  She was obviously head over heels.  Then Jeff decided to transfer to pursue a different major and moved to Orange County.  Needless to say... everything worked out!

The happy couple dated until December 10th, 2011 when Jeff FINALLY asked Ashley to marry him at a scenic park near their home in Trabuco Canyon!  HOORAY!!!
